上海市商务委员会总经济师罗志松在回答记者提问中讲到，2023年1-9月，全市规模以上化妆品企业零售额实现892亿元，同比增长15.9%，批发额实现1925亿元，同比增长9.1%，其中零售额占全市社会消费品零售总额(简称社零总额)比重约1/10，是拉动全市社零总额增长的组成部分。举办2023东方美谷国际化妆品大会，持续打造“中国化妆品产业之都”，努力推动化妆品产业高质量发展，对加快建设引领时尚、定义潮流的国际消费中心城市具有十分重要的意义和作用。
